About the Artist:
Sam creates alien landscapes and otherworldly forms inspired by asteroids, stars, planets, the cosmos, nebulae and the infinite unknowns of deep space. 
 
Each artwork begins life as wax sculpture and compositions of other materials assembled on painted backdrops. These earthly substances are then photographed and warped into something unearthly using digital editing techniques.
 
There is no 3D rendering involved in the creative process, everything is photographed and edited from original physical compositions of real materials. 
The possibilities of space are endless and it begs the question, maybe forms like these really do exist? 
 
Each limited edition print is generally available in sizes up to A1 and is printed on canvas using highest-quality inks. Floating frames are also available.
